GLYN Wavecom Evaluationboards

GLYN evaluationboards provide a cheap and easy way

to become familiar with all functions of the Wavecom

modules. The EVBQUIK board is equipped with the

Wavecom Wismo Quik Module Q2406B, offering high-

speed wireless data with GPRS class 10 and including

the optional TCP/IP-stack software. The EVBQUIK-GPS

is equipped with the new telematics module Q2501B,

which has an integrated GPS receiver, making this the

ideal platform for telematics applications.

Those evaluationboards are offering together with

MUSE (Modular User Software Environment) an ideal

platform for the development and evaluation of custo-

mised applications.

Wavecom Starterkits

There are Wavecom starterkits available, which are used as reference environments for the modems/modules.

Available for the INTEGRA M2106B modem, the WISMO Quik Q2400 series modules and for the new Q2501, the starterkits

contain a product-specific evaluationboard and all needed accessories.

Evaluationboard EVBQUIK

Scope of delivery:

GLYN evaluationboard including:

• Wavecom Q2406B with TCP/IP stack

• YAMAICHI SIM-card reader

• Standard RS-232 serial interface: 9-pin SUB-D

• Audio connectors: 2 x RJ 11

• Antenna connector: FME-female

• Voltage regulation circuit with power supply

connector

• Test pins for all pins of the modem/module to

connect custom peripheral devices

Serial data cable

CD-ROM with technical documentation

Evaluationboard EVBQUIK-GPS

Scope of delivery:

• Wavecom Q2501B

• YAMAICHI SIM-card reader

• 2x Standard RS-232 serial interface: 9-pin SUB-D

• Audio connectors: 2 x RJ 11

• Antenna connector: 2x MMS, including adapter

cables 1x FME-female, 1x SMB male

• Voltage regulation circuit with power supply

connector

• Test pins for all pins of the modem/module to

connect custom peripheral devices
